Pink Perseverance was launched on Saturday, October 16, 2010 with a Dinner and Dance celebration held at Langley Air Force Base in the Chief’s Room.  Guest speakers for the evening were Dr. David Powell of Sentara Hospital (oncologist) and Ms. Teresa Kelly of Silhouette Mastectomy Boutique.  During the festivities, Pink Perseverance gave a donation to Silhouette Mastectomy Boutique to assist women with healthcare co-pays to purchase bras, prothesis, wigs, scarves, hats, and other garments after having breast surgery, which is part of our mission.
